Charles DesselleCo-Founder, Daisy Chain Biannual

My experience spans fashion, culture, and commerce, including brand creative for Louis Vuitton and early digital development for Raf Simons. I lead by connecting strategy to expression and concept to execution, aligning multidisciplinary creative teams across global campaigns and platforms. Among them is Daisy Chain Biannual, an archival print publication I co-founded.

My creative practice derives from my degree in economics at Columbia University, where I specialized in Bayesian data analysis. My senior thesis, awarded the highest mark possible, pioneered an innovative methodological framework that allowed me to quantify how complex heuristics influence preference orderings—effectively reverse-engineering the subjective beliefs that drive observed actions.

That analytical foundation has carried forward, drawing me toward work that resists explanation and makes space for layered meaning. It reflects my core belief that strong editorial doesn’t resolve complexity; it reveals it.
